Caitlin volunteered to help clean up after baking. She was so eager to help. Wonder why?

CLICK - This explains it all
My friend had this on her website. I can not take credit for finding it. I can however identify. I showed Caitlin the video & she just laughed. I do not think this is a good sign.

Sleepover
Last night one of my BFF's stay the night. I was soooooooo excited that I had a friend over. It was 11pm last night when Mom prayed (sort of begging) to God that we would ppplease go to sleep. Mom put her pillow & blanket down and slept in the middle of us. About 5 minutes later, we were asleep. Mom says, "Thank you God!!!!!". All in all it was a blast!!! It is now about 8 am & we are up & ready to go again. Mom says we are going to get donuts. Gotta go.

Important Lesson about Furniture
Caitlin's chin met the coffee table. The coffee table won. Caitlin's back met the coffee table. Again, the coffee table won.
Today we learned that couch is for sitting, and the coffee table is for setting things on.*
Now for the legal stuff......
*I reserve the right to be reminded of this lesson again. Just because Mommy told me once does not mean that this will not be remembered. Mommy must repeat things LOTS & LOTS & LOTS of times for me to remember. I think. I don't remember.

Hiking
We went for a small hike to see how Caitlin would do. Half way throught she annouced she had to "pee-pee". Mommy took her back to alog and tried to get her to squat. NO NO NO. A few minutes later Daddy tried, same response. Sorry Daddy, need city plumbing for this one.
Caitlin had to make sure before taking the picture that the rock would not move. It pased the poke test.

Questions
As we are cooped up in the house with the heat index for the day nearing 105 degrees and tomorrow 110. Caitlin and I are getting a lot of one on one time. I am trying to unpack and she just wants to "help".
I hear that most children ask why. Not ours, she asks "who's that?" followed by "where is____". She loves singing "happy birthday" about everyone she knows. We are not sure that she will be accepted into public preschool this year. It seems that her skills exceed the minimum. She can say her ABC's, count to 20, knows most of her colors and shapes. She is also starting to recognize letters and writing. It is so amazing that with all these new skills she still has a hard time picking up her toys. Hmm...
